Leeds today: Pudsey conmen, ballet virgins and children's services Ofsted

Good morning Leeds.

It's the morning after the night before. Later today I'm hoping to feature a guest post from a student who'll give his perspective on yesterday's protests in London and the government's tuition fees decision.


What's making Leeds tick today?

Leeds council's children's services department is not doing enough to safeguard young people, an Ofsted report has found. Full story is over at BBC Leeds. Council bosses have pledged to continue with improvements to the city's children's services following the latest annual performance assessment by Ofsted.
