Proving itself the most dynamic city outside London for public debate, Leeds has yet another new discussion group Talking Allowed in Leeds, part of the Philosophy in Pubs initiative.

Next Wednesday at Leeds Art Gallery, The Culture Vulture is teaming up with the Northern Art Prize to host a cultural conversation ahead of the opening of the 4th prize exhibition. Concurrently there's a tongue-in-cheek competition for the public to design Northern Art Pies, to be created and sold during the exhibition, with a percentage of the proceeds going to Leeds arts organisation Pyramid of Arts.
