Good morning, Leeds.

Today I'm looking at the launch of a new Wednesday Asian market aimed at giving Kirkgate Market a timely boost - but existing traders gave a mixed response.

And there will be a report from last night's public meeting in Chapel Allerton where residents were given a chance to have their say about licensing in the area.

This afternoon I'll be in court to hear Leeds Labour councillor John Illingworth take his own council to court in a bid to force the authority to hand over 'confidential' papers from a full council meeting in 2003.
