What a whirlwind day it was for sport in Leeds yesterday! Brian McClennan resigned as head coach of Leeds Rhinos. The 48-year-old New Zealander will be replaced at Headingley by Brian McDermott.
And a 4-0 thumping for Leeds United at home last night - although my colleague Hannah Waldram over at Guardian Cardiff will be pleased.
