Good morning Leeds. What's making the city tick today?
A petition to save Leeds Crisis Centre is hoping to persuade Leeds council to keep the axe-threatened facility open and reinstate its funding. The petition can be found here. The consultation process surrounding the planned closure of the centre will be discussed by a council watchdog scrutiny board at Leeds Civic Hall at 10am. We'll be filing copy later today.
A petition with more than 700 names on it calling for greater regulation of buses in Leeds will be presented to Parliament on Tuesday 8 March at the end of the days business collected. The names were collected during a recent day of action by the Fairer Fares campaign and Leeds Student Bus Campaign.
