Leeds today - cricket, rocks and speed dating

A murder investigation has been launched after a man died following an assault near a pub following the England v USA World Cup draw 12 days ago, the Yorkshire Evening Post reports.

Police are appealing for information following a serious road traffic accident on Colton Lane, Leeds in which two elderly people were seriously injured.

Leeds Schools Green Day 2010 will be officially launched at Whitecote Primary School, Bramley, today at 11.15am, reports Leeds City Council.
