Leeds supermarkets and stores already have Christmas displays up three months before the big day

We love Christmas very much but having festive displays in stores during September feels incredibly early.

We don’t wish to be all Scrooge about it but when you consider we’ve yet to have Halloween and Bonfire Night it is a little nauseous seeing Santas, advent calendars and Lindt Christmas reindeers on the supermarket shelves.

Featured in this article are displays from Tesco, in Roundhay Road, and WH Smith at the White Rose Shopping Centre.
