Leeds students, if you're living in squalor we want to hear from you

University is all about getting a good education and having fun.

Many students are filled with excitement and expectation when they move away from their friends and family to start life as an undergraduate in a new city, but are left disappointed when they arrive at their sub-standard accomodation.

Students are not renowned for their housekeeping and some don't treat their short-term homes with any respect.

But there are also many students out there who are left at the mercy of inconsiderate landlords, who aren't bothered about issues such as damp, dodgy boilers, rodents or returning deposits.

Unlike them, the team here at LeedsLive don't think people should suffer in squalor just because they're students and we would like to help.

If you're a student who is being poorly treated by a landlord or property management company and being left to languish in awful conditions then please get in touch.

You can do so by sending an email with details about these poor conditions, photographs and your contact details to nathan.hyde@trinitymirror.com
