Leeds shopping centre is hosting a cuddle session with puppies this Valentine's Day

Shoppers are bound to fall in love with a bunch of adorable puppies at a fun event in Leeds city centre on Valentine's Day.

People visiting Victoria Leeds on Friday, February 14 will be able to pet a group of cute pooches inside Puppy Love Pen.

The dogs will be available for cuddles from midday until 4pm outside The Ivy in the Victoria Quarter, and the pen comes complete with grass, a white picket fence and deck chairs.

It's all in aid of charity too, with dog lovers asked for a small donation before stepping into the pen to say hello to the gorgeous puppies, who are raising money for Guide Dogs Leeds.

The charity helps blind and partially sighted people across the UK through the provision of guide dogs, mobility and other rehabilitation services.

Charlotte Walton, community fundraising relationship manager for West Yorkshire at Guide Dogs Leeds, said: "We are extremely grateful to Victoria Leeds for this fantastic support.

"The funds raised at the Puppy Love event will help to ensure that we can continue to provide our life-changing services for people with sight loss."
