Leeds set to swelter in 31°C heat followed by thunderstorms

Leeds could be sweltering in temperatures of up to 31°C next week.

The city could be set for one of its hottest days this year on Tuesday, according to The Weather Channel.

And if that sounds a bit too warm it will be followed by some cooling rain and possibly, some scattered thunderstorms.

For the next few days, however, it will be moderately warm but wet, drying and warming into next week.

Friday will be warm but wet with top temperatures of 21°C and a strong chance of rain.

Showers are expected on Saturday which will be moderately warm with highs of 20°C.
