Leeds saw another substantial rise in confirmed coronavirus cases within the last 24 hours as the latest data shows a worrying continuous surge.
As well as Bradford, Leeds' rates have continued to sore over the last few days with 117 more confirmed cases within the last day.
Between Leeds and Bradford, the two cities identified 207 new cases between them, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
It means just over 5,700 people have now tested positive for Covid-19 in Leeds since the start of the outbreak. The total currently stands at 5,725.
The data also shows that Leeds has a rate of 721.8 cases per 100,000 people.
There have been two further coronavirus deaths recorded at hospitals in Yorkshire in the past 24 hours. The latest figures, published by the NHS, show that deaths were recorded in Bradford and Hull.
It takes the region's death toll in hospitals since the start of the outbreak to 2,607.
