Part of a road in Leeds was cordoned off after a man was attacked late last night (Friday).
Police were called to reports of an assault at the end of Harehills Lane near Osmondthorpe at 11.35pm.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police confirmed that a man in his 20s was assaulted but his injuries were not serious.
Part of the road was cordoned off this morning while crime scene investigators carried out an investigation.
The cordon has since been lifted.
No arrests have been made so far.
