Leeds Rhinos' pre-season return date confirmed as preparations ramp up

Leeds Rhinos' first-team squad will report back for pre-season on November 22nd.

Richard Agar's squad made the play-off semi-finals this year, meaning their season lasted a fortnight longer than many of their rivals.

For that reason, they will return to their Kirkstall training base in a fortnight while many other clubs have already returned for pre-season ahead of the 2022 season.

The likes of Hull FC, Salford Red Devils and Castleford Tigers have all reported back ahead of the new season as the countdown to February begins.

But Leeds fans waiting to see their stars back together will have to wait just a little while longer just yet.

With the season set to start on Thursday, February 10th, the Rhinos still have plenty of time to get their preparation perfected for the season with 11 weeks to work with.

They will return to the field on Boxing Day for the annual Wetherby Whaler Festive fixture with Wakefield Trinity at Headingley Stadium.

That could be fans' first glimpse at new signings David Fusitu'a, James Bentley, Aidan Sezer and Blake Austin, who have all joined the club ahead of the 2022 season.
