Jack Broadbent: Struggled underneath the high ball and his naivety showed at times in the first half but also had bright moments. 6
Tom Briscoe: The winger carried well when he stepped inside but he hardly touched the ball in attacking areas. 5
Konrad Hurrell: Short of his best. Came inside semi-regularly but didn’t show his power enough, should have done more to prevent Lee Gaskell setting up Aidan Sezer in the second half. 5
Alex Mellor: Got involved defensively and showed grit bit couldn’t make a lasting impact on the contest. 6
Ash Handley: Took his try very well and got back to make a decisive intervention to prevent Sezer scoring in the first half. 6
Kruise Leeming: Dropped into the half-back role and looked lively and asked questions but struggled to open the Giants up. 6
Liam Sutcliffe : Kicked well but didn’t look completely comfortable in the halves, thought he’d won the game with a drop goal, but couldn’t repeat the feat in the dying moments. 7
Mikolaj Oledzki: A big effort from the prop, he played at a 100mph through the middle, getting about defensively and carrying with real energy and vigour. 7
Brad Dwyer: Played the full 80 minutes and looked lively at times. He constantly dashed out of dummy half and had a huge say in Bodene Thompson’s opener. 7
Matt Prior: Played huge minutes through the middle of the park once again and got through heaps of defensive work. 7
Sam Walters: Got through plenty of defensive work and took his chance to impress in the second-row. 6
Bodene Thompson: Got the ball rolling for Leeds with a well-taken try and there was plenty of effort on his first start. 7
Jarrod O’Connor: Made himself busy in the loose-forward spot before being replaced in the second half. 6
James Donaldson: Enjoyed the physicality of the game and looked to relish his defensive duties. 6
Rhyse Martin: Made a difference when he came on the field. A level head and experience brought Leeds back into the game, but it wasn’t enough to snatch victory. 6
King Vuniyayawa: Every tackle was a heavy one as he threw himself around during his stint on the field. 6
Luke Briscoe : Entered the field in the second half but couldn’t prevent Huddersfield from taking the win. 5
