Leeds Rhinos player ratings as Blake Austin produces masterclass in stunning fightback

Richie Myler - 7: Generally speaking had a quiet game. Costly error throwing a forward pass to Zane Tetevano when they were lining up to score, but showed good support play to finish his try and excellent work for the final try.

David Fusitu'a - 6: Had a very quiet game, not as prominent as others.

Harry Newman - 5: A world-class talent but wasn't on it here. Scored early, but was out of position for Adam Keighran's try, was then stupidly sin-binned for persistent dissent and was unable to finish a great chance in the second half. A mark up for his late effort to support Myler to score the final try.

Rhyse Martin - 5: Impossible to mark this. Because he did so much right, and so much wrong! His try was a piece of individual world class. His carries were excellent. But then he gifted Catalans a try with a desperate offload on his own line and missed five consecutive conversions!

Nene Macdonald - 7: His error on play one resulted in Mitchell Pearce's try, a costly mistake. However, he was brilliant beyond that and came up with some really big plays for his team.

Blake Austin - 9: His best game for Leeds? Maybe. From the off he was innovative with his kicking and a threat with his running game. The 40-20 and crisp pass for Holroyd's score, the one to put Leeds ahead, was sublime.

Aidan Sezer - 5: Much quieter than his halfback partner here.

Tom Holroyd - 7: Continues to impress and show that he's right up there with the other young props in the competition that garner more headlines than he does. Close to being an eight.

Jarrod O'Connor - 6 : Had a shaky start. His penalty put Catalans in position for the first try and missed a tackle on Pearce when he scored. Second half, though, he was excellent. Potentially worth a seven.

Sam Walters - 5: Given a starting berth but better suited to being the impact man currently.

James McDonnell - 6: Will never get the headlines but he is a solid defensive performer who does a lot of unnoticed work that deserves more credit.

Zane Tetevano - 7: Try saving tackle to deny Mike McMeeken in the first half was crucial. Was solid in attack playing wider and overall just had a good game.

Cameron Smith - 8: Excellent. Absolutely excellent. His pass for Newman's first try sublime but fronted up defensively and was key with the ball.

Corey Johnson - 6: Short stint at the end, did nothing wrong.

Justin Sangare - 5: Maybe a harsh score because he does carry well. But defensively he came up with some very poor plays.

Sam Lisone - 6: An improvement on last week without being spectacular. Will look to build on this.

Derrell Olpherts - 7: Had a shocker last week but fair play to him. His carries set a platform for the Rhinos to get going and he finished his try well.
