Leeds Rhinos make three changes for Warrington Wolves clash as Sutcliffe returns

Leeds Rhinos have made three changes to the squad to take on Warrington Wolves on Sunday.

Less than 24 hours off the back of their victory over Hull FC, head coach Richard Agar has been forced to name his next squad for the clash with the Wolves, who beat Wigan last time out.

Liam Sutcliffe has overcome head concussion protocols and is able to play, giving Agar a fresh body for the quick turnaround.

Bodene Thompson is also available after serving a three-match ban while Morgan Gannon is back in the squad after a few games on the sidelines.

They replace Alex Mellor, who has been a mainstay throughout the season, as well as Callum McLelland and Sam Walters.

George Williams is expected to make his debut for Warrington in the match.

McLelland's withdrawal would suggest a move for Sutcliffe into the halves, with Thompson potentially replacing the outgoing Mellor in the back-row.

Leeds Rhinos 21-man squad : Tom Briscoe, Harry Newman, Konrad Hurrell, Ash Handley, Luke Gale, Mikolaj Oledzki, Kruise Leeming, Matt Prior, Rhyse Martin, Zane Tetevano, Brad Dwyer, Liam Sutcliffe, Richie Myler, Cameron Smith, Tom Holroyd, King Vuniyayawa, Bodene Thompson, Luke Briscoe, James Donaldson, Jarrod O'Connor, Morgan Gannon.
