Leeds Rhinos face halfback crisis as Aidan Sezer limps off after minutes of St Helens clash

Leeds Rhinos have suffered another injury setback after Aidan Sezer was withdrawn in the opening minutes of their game with St Helens. The halfback, who only returned from a quad injury a week earlier, limped off after just five minutes of the game.

Sezer appeared to sustain the injury in the opening minutes after taking in a carry and left the field just as Leeds opened the scoring through Ash Handley. It's a concerning injury for the Rhinos, who are already without other senior halfback Blake Austin due to a calf problem.

The halfback's injury was confirmed to be a groin issue, with the Australian seen to be receiving treatment on the bench in the aftermath. As a consequence, Ash Handley was moved to fullback, with Richie Myler partnering Morgan Gannon in the halves.
