Luke Gale has been named in Leeds Rhinos' Challenge Cup squad to face St Helens, despite reports of an injury.
The Rhinos captain has been named in Leeds' 21-man squad to face St Helens in the third-round clash, but there is no Kyle Eastmond.
Reports on Wednesday evening claimed the Rhinos talisman had broken his thumb and would miss the match.
Despite that, Leeds have named him in their squad to face the Saints on Saturday.
Eastmond's omission is equally eye-catching, given head coach Richard Agar had teased that he could potentially feature this week.
If Gale is injured, it would come as an undoubted blow. Jack Walker, Harry Newman, Konrad Hurrell, Rob Lui, Richie Myler, Callum McLelland and Tom Holroyd are all currently on the sidelines. All seven remain unavailable this week.
King Vuniyayawa could make his debut after being selected in the 21-man squad, with youngsters Jarrod O'Connor and Morgan Gannon both also included.
Meanwhile, St Helens are due to give Lachlan Coote his first appearance of the season, with head coach Kristian Woolf confirming he would play earlier this week. Mark Percival and Agnatius Paasi both return to the squad, with Morgan Knowles their only front-line absentee.
