Leeds Rhinos boosted by return of quartet as squad for Wigan clash named

Leeds Rhinos have been boosted with the return of Rhyse Martin, Matt Prior, Cameron Smith and Jack Broadbent to their 21-man squad for Wednesday’s trip to Wigan Warriors.

Martin returns after completing his one game suspension while Smith and Prior return after Covid related lay offs.

Broadbent has been out since suffering an ankle injury against Warrington that has ruled him out for eight games.

Ash Handley is included but will have further assessment this week on the injury that forced him off in last Thursday’s win over Huddersfield.

Leeds are still without Liam Sutcliffe (knee), Konrad Hurrell (foot), Luke Gale (knee), Jack Walker (foot), Mikolaj Oledzki (toe) and Alex Mellor (knee).

The squad in full is: Tom Briscoe, Harry Newman, Ash Handley, Rob Lui, Kruise Leeming, Matt Prior, Rhyse Martin, Zane Tetevano, Brad Dwyer, Richie Myler, Cameron Smith, Tom Holroyd, King Vuniyayawa, Bodene Thompson, Sam Walters, Callum McLelland, Luke Briscoe, James Donaldson, Jarrod O’Connor, Jack Broadbent, Morgan Gannon
