The best restaurant in Leeds has been revealed according to the Food Awards England.
The competition aims to celebrate the best of the food industry. The team for the 2022 event have announced the Yorkshire finalists in the running for the restaurant of the year category.
A spokesperson for the Food Awards England said: “England offers a wide range of places that serve world cuisines. The finalists were voted for by the public for providing authentic recipes and unique dishes to their diners, creating memorable experiences for both residents and visitors.

“Undoubtedly, there are some amazing specialists around the country, who know how to offer great service, delicious food and meet the expectations of their diners. These are the professionals that we aim to reward at The Food Awards England 2022.
“We would like to wish all the finalists the best of luck and we can’t wait to welcome all our guests and celebrate the winners with them.”
Of the Yorkshire finalists, there’s only one from Leeds which is Chef Jono at V&V. The other Yorkshire nominees include The Hare Restaurant, in Thirsk, Pipe and Glass, in Beverley, Melton’s Restaurant, in York, The Box Tree Restaurant, Ilkley, and Eric’s Restaurant, in Huddersfield.
The winners of the Food Awards England will be announced at an event taking place in Manchester next month. The event will welcome top professionals of the country’s food sector.
