Leeds question on ITV's The Chase leaves contestant flummoxed

The Chase fans in Leeds and Yorkshire will have been shouting at the telly this week, when a local question came up in one of the rounds - and the contestant got it horribly wrong.

Carole was the most impressive of the team in her first round on Tuesday afternoon's show, putting £6,000 in the bank with six right answers and offered a chance to go for £47,000 in her chase.

She took the £6000 option though, and was soon quizzed on a rather well-known feature of the city and surrounding area.

"In Yorkshire, the triangular area of land between Morley, Rothwell and Wakefield is known for the production of what?", was the question from host Bradley Walsh.

Carole was forced to take a guess on the answer (ITV)

The options were Rhubarb, Liquorice and Wensleydale. Many of us, especially those living in LS26, will know about the beautiful fields of...??????? in this part of the world, covering a nine-square-mile triangle between the three areas.

We won't say the answer - you can watch the clip above to see how Carole got on!
