Leeds plumber goes viral with genius 'doggy shower' idea to save homes from muddy paws

A plumber from Leeds has come up with a clever way of stopping dogs' muddy paws from dirtying your floors.

Josh Stringer, from Leeds, West Yorkshire, has invented the idea of installing a 'dog shower' tucked away outside your door, in an insulated box.

The clever idea has gone viral on social media, with people all over the country asking if anyone near them can install the doggy bathrooms.

The idea is to wash off your pet in its own outdoor shower, which is discretely installed outside in an insulated box, hiding any messy pipes or wires.

This means there is no need to be dirtying your bathrooms with muddy paw prints anymore.

The post on Facebook had more than 2,000 comments from people saying how much they needed this brilliant idea for their homes.

Ash said: "How amazing is this idea!"

Taylor also said: "Need to get one of these."

Olivia agreed: "We definitely need this."

Although, we think this could also be a good idea for muddy football boots and trainers.

Kaitlyn agreed: "We need one of these for football days for the twins."
