A Leeds pizza takeaway has hit back at a customer who posted a 2 star review, even mocking their choice of pizza topping.
A Just Eat customer called Leo gave Dino's Pizzeria in Queenswood Drive, Headingley, 2.5 stars in his review, calling the food 'average' and complaining it had arrived too early.
He wrote: "Food was average. Delivery time was way too early. Not the worst though but could be alot [sic] better."
A member of staff posted a no-holds-barred reply, telling him to order from somewhere else and even mocking him for his choice of pizza.
The reply accused him of deliberately posting a poor review to 'get a great kick out of it' and ended with 'no thanks'.
It said: "Hi Leo thank you for ordering and regarding your review food was average are you kidding me.
"You ordered a tuna pizza tuna and sweet corn what was you expecting and you complain about the delivery was way to early is this a joke.
"I really think your one of those guys that when you see a place with high reviews your probably say to your self well I’ll be the one to give them a bad review some people like yourself do get a great kick out of it and people like you don’t really interest me at all so from now on order from some places [sic] else and just maybe the quality of the food be up to your standards and get you [sic] food delivered like 1hour later.
"No thanks, Team Dinos."
The Headingley takeaway has a 5.7 out of 6 star rating on Just Eat, based on over 4,000 customer reviews.
However Leo had only given Dino's 2.5 stars in his verdict.
