Leeds owner makes admission on possible takeover from PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi

Leeds chief Andrea Radrizzani admits a deal could be struck with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in the future.

The pair are known to have a good relationship and the Qatari money has transformed PSG into a global powerhouse.

Radrizzani has Leeds on the cusp of a return to the Premier League having invested heavily in the services of Marcelo Bielsa.

The Italian has not been shy in stating how much running the Yorkshire club is costing him and would not turn down any investment.

But he insists much rests on whether Leeds become a top flight club once again.

He told Gianluca Di Marzio : "These are rumours that have been ongoing for more than a year now. What is true is that we have a great relationship on a personal level.

"There's a desire to do something together maybe even in football but there's nothing concrete at this time

"In the last few weeks everything took a back seat. My desire to have a great Leeds that is a protagonist in the Premier League and to do so we will need partners on top of the San Francisco 49ers, we'll evaluate this when we are in that league"

Leeds are seven points clear of third-placed Fulham at the top of the Championship with nine games remaining.

But the coronavirus pandemic has suspended the season indefinitely and put the Whites' promotion dreams in doubt.

The EFL though has stated its desire to finish the current season which means the Premier League would have to follow suit ensuring that relegation and promotion take place.
