Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani will NOT sell up despite interest from PSG owner

Andrea Radrizzani will remain in charge of Leeds next season, despite reported interest from Paris St Germain’s Qatari owners.

Qatar Sports Investment, who are led by PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, are reportedly keen on buying a stake in Leeds from Radrizzani.

Qatar Sports Investment have poured hundreds of millions into PSG, smashing the world transfer record to sign Neymar for £200million in 2017, to make them the dominant side in France.

Leeds sources claim Radrizzani is not selling up and that the Italian media rights mogul will keep his shares for next season.

He bought into Leeds in January 2017 and took full control from Massimo Cellino that summer.

Radrizzani is hugely ambitious for Leeds and one of his first acts after purchasing Cellino’s remaining stake was to buy back Elland Road, which had been sold in 2004 because of the club’s financial crisis.

He also lured Marcelo Bielsa to Elland Road last summer on a £3.7million-a-year deal for the Argentinian and his nine coaches to make him the best-paid manager in the club’s history.

Radrizzani is already planning for next season with Bielsa and director of football Victor Orta after the crushing disappointment of missing out on promotion in the play-offs.

He believes Bielsa remains the best person to lead Leeds back into the Premier League and will back him this summer in the transfer market. Bielsa is a huge fans' favourite at Elland Road, with supporters writing an open letter to the eccentric manager begging him to stay.

Leeds will also fight to keep some of their most talented players this summer, with the likes of Jack Clarke being linked with moves to Premier League clubs such as Tottenham .

In spite of their failure in the playoffs it was a memorable season for Leeds supporters, and for a significant period of time it looked like they would achieve automatic promotion until they were overtaken by both Norwich City and Sheffield United.
