Leeds O2 Academy postpones upcoming events because of coronavirus pandemic

Leeds O2 Academy has taken the decision to postpone all forthcoming events because of the coronavirus pandemic.

We’ve seen a lost of big events in Leeds cancelled or postponed because of the outbreak while this is also the case in wider Yorkshire too.

Leeds Grand Theatre has temporarily closed along with Leeds City Varieties and Hyde Park Picture house.

Now Leeds O2 Academy has followed suit.

A spokesperson said: “The safety of all our staff, artists and visitors is our top priority. All shows and events until March 31 are temporarily postponed, so to help keep you up to date of plans and changes, ticket holders of any affected event will be contacted directly.”

They took to social media with a lengthier statement.
