Leeds North East General Election 2019 result

Fabian Hamilton has held the Leeds North East seat since 1997 for Labour and will hope to hold his seat in the General Election 2019.

Voters from parts of Leeds such as Chapel Allerton, Chapeltown, Harehills, Roundhay, Alwoodley and Moortown have been choosing between the six candidates running for the Leeds North East seat.

The exit poll predicted a dyer night for Labour, expected to win just 191 seats compared to the Tories 368. This would give Boris Johnson a considerable overall majority and the oppportunity to push through a Brexit deal in the new year.
