Buckle up everyone, Leeds' impressive reputation as a shopping destination is about to get even better.
Named after the triple Wimbledon champion, Fred Perry is one of the most popular designers in the country, and the brand's new store opened on August 2.
The store is a part of Victoria Leeds, yet will be based across the road from the main shopping centre on King Edward Street. The store takes over the unit previously used by Liam Gallagher's Pretty Green brand.
This evening (Thursday) Leeds' own Fizzy Blood will perform at the launch party from 6:30pm, and there will also be a DJ set from Popka. The event finishes at 9:30pm.
You'll be able to grab tons of exclusive Fred Perry gear from the store, including their iconic polo shirts.
Alongside their usual range, there will also be products from the brand’s collaborations with Raf Simons, Miles Kane and the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
A statement from fred Perry said:"Designed by the man himself, the Fred Perry Shirt is the brand’s icon. To tell its story, the new Leeds shop will have a wall of Fred Perry Shirts in perspex boxes, displaying both iconic and seasonal colourways."
The store opening was first hinted at in Spring when Fred Perry branding could be seen outside the empty unit.
