Leeds mum set to be OnlyFans millionaire after losing job as hairdresser

A mum who lost her job as a hairdresser in lockdown is now set to become a millionaire after selling racy images and videos online.

Gracey Kay, 32, from Leeds, signed up to OnlyFans - where content creators provide exclusive material to subscribers - in the hope of earning extra money, the Mirror reports.

But within weeks she was making more than twice her annual £18,000 salary as a self-employed hairdresser.

She has since become one of the site's top earners and has moved her family to Alicante in Spain, where she plans to invest her earnings in property.

Speaking to Leeds Live, she said: "I do have to pinch myself sometimes. I can't believe this is my life."

She described how, on some days: "I will just sit on the beach all day and work from my phone".

So far, she's made £578,156 and by April she reckons she will have hit £1 million.

Gracey described it as "an unreal amount of money." She said she thinks her account became so popular because she started it in lockdown and everyone was online.

She has invested some of the money she made into promoting her page, which helped it grow, too.

"Before, I would never have spent more than £50 on a pair of shoes or a handbag", she added. "And now I can afford designer things.

"But to be honest, I don't buy stuff. I want to use the money for my family and spend it on them once lockdown lifts."

She said she was panicking during lockdown as she had bills to pay and no income. A friend told her how she'd made extra income from selling feet pictures on the site, so she gave it a go.

While she was nervous at first and only posted pictures of herself in her underwear, she started posting nude pictures after a while as she "had to work out what content people want to see and what I'm comfortable with".

The images have enabled her to feel "much more confident now". She said some of the women she networks with are "50 or 60 years old, earning just as much, if not more than me".

Gracey has 140,000 subscribers but has also faced negative comments online. "Some people, and it's a lot of men, have said horrible things online.

"Some people have even subscribed to my page, and paid to do so, just to tell me they don't like what I'm doing."

Overall, though, it has been a positive experience as living in Spain means she has the sun "90 per cent of the time - which is the opposite to the UK".

And she hopes to retire on the income she's earned and from her property portfolio when she is 35.
