Leeds Met Office weather forecast for Thursday as city set for a cloudy day

According to the Met Office, it is set to be cloudy day from dawn to dusk - with temperatures hitting highs of 12°c.

Sunny spells will develop in the morning, between 8am - 9am, with cloud thickening later throughout the day. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Spells of overcast are foretast later in the day between 7pm - 8pm.

The morning will be cool, with highs of 9°c and this will gradually increase to 11°c by midday and 12°c from 1pm.

Throughout the night, temperatures will remain steady at around 10°c and the cloud cover will remain.

The forecast is for a wet and windy Friday with winds easing into the weekend, but cloudy for most with outbreaks of light rain or drizzle, and some fog moving in from the North Sea.

And it is set to be much the same throughout Yorkshire on Friday, with the region not welcoming any weather extremes and most areas experiencing a cool and cloudy day.
