Leeds Met Office weather forecast for Friday as city set for heavy rain

Leeds is set for a seriously wet Friday with heavy cloud cover contributing to a thoroughly miserable end to the week.

Met Office forecasters have laid out the likely weather pattern for today, with not a whole lot to get excited about.

The rain will start to fall at around 11am in most of the city and stick around for a few hours.

Forecasters are not predicting Leeds will get rain as heavy as will be seen elsewhere in Yorkshire.
