Leeds McColls store cordoned off by police after 'three masked men raid store'

A McColls store in Leeds has been taped off by police after reports of masked men raiding the premises.

Police tape surrounds the newsagents in Selby Road in the Wykebeck area of the city.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police has confirmed that officers are investigating a robbery and said no one was hurt during the raid.

He said: "There has been a robbery and there is an ongoing investigation. No one was hurt or injured and there is no wider risk to the public."

An eyewitness claimed that three masked men entered the store around 8pm before leaving.

A picture has emerged of a police car parked outside the McColls shop with police tape cordoning off the entrance to the store.
