Leeds man wanted by police after high value thefts

West Yorkshire Police are trying to track down a Leeds man they want to question about a string of thefts and an attack.

The force says Nathan Brady is "wanted by officers" and "it is believed he could be within the east Leeds area."

Officers want to question the 21-year-old, who is from Osmondthorpe, about several high-value theft offences and the assault of a member of staff at a store in Leeds city centre in May 2019.

They are urging anyone who sees Mr Brady or has information about his whereabouts to contact 101 immediately and quote crime reference number 13190266129.

The force is still appealing for witnesses and information about the group of youths who set fire to a police van in Halton Moor on Thursday, September 19 and threw bricks at officers.

Officers investigating that incident have arrested a 13-year-old.

They have also arrested a 31-year-old, who has been charged with criminal damage.

Anyone with information, particularly any mobile phone or dashcam footage, is asked to contact Leeds District CID on 101 and quote crime reference number 13190482536.
