Hospitals in Leeds have not recorded a single new death related to Covid-19 for the past 11 days.
The death toll in Leeds has remained at 337 since the last new coronavirus death was confirmed by NHS England on June 28.
Today a further two coronavirus deaths were confirmed in Yorkshire - both in the south of the region.
Hospital trusts in Barnsley and Doncatser recorded a single new death each in the 24 hours to 5pm on July 8.
NHS England today confirmed that another 22 people have died from the virus in hospitals in England, including the two in Yorkshire.
They were aged between 53 and 94-years-old and one patient that died had no underlying health conditions.
This means that the death toll in Yorkshire's hospitals has now reached 2,517.
Figures indicate that the total deaths in hospitals in England from Covid-19 is 28,991.
