A HMV Leeds city centre store will definitely close according to the home entertainment company.
For several months, there’s been uncertainty hanging over the future of the HMV at The Core Shopping Centre.
Earlier this week, we brought you an update on the store facing closure at the end of the month after a dispute with landlords. HMV has now confirmed the shop is shutting.
They revealed the news to our colleagues at The Mirror.
A spokesperson gave an update on the Leeds store’s future while stating the company had managed to save some of their outlets which were facing closure.
HMV shops in Grimsby, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Reading, Birmingham and at Sheffield’s Meadowhall have been saved.
The good new for fans of HMV in Leeds, a new branch opened at the St Johns Shopping Centre before Christmas.
