Christmas is a time for goodwill, catching up with family and putting a smile of people's faces - but not for all of us, it seems.
Leeds has been outed as the city with more Grinches than anywhere else in the north of England.
Almost one in five of us said that Christmas is the number one reason for disliking the winter months, much higher than the national average of one in eight.
The survey, carried out by AO.com, quizzed more than 1,000 people in 16 cities all over the UK - and it turns out there is only one city that loathes Christmas even more than us Leeds folk.
Bristol came out as the grumpiest place in the UK, with more than 18 per cent of people there having no festive cheer whatsoever.
Leeds was next on the list (17 per cent), with Nottingham not far behind (16 per cent).

By far and away the cheeriest Christmas city in the UK is Plymouth, where just four per cent of people adopt a Scrooge-like attitude throughout December.
