This Thursday marks the 10th week since the Clap For Carers event first began.
Founder Annemarie Plas came up with the idea to applaud health workers and carers on our doorsteps to show support for the NHS staff and key workers risking their lives during these unprecedented times.
Ever since, residents in Leeds have clapped in harmony on streets across the city each and every Thursday night.
But now Annemarie says it is time for the weekly event to come to an end, and for this to become something we revisit every year at this time.
So, what do people in Leeds think about that? Is now the right time to end it? We asked our readers for their thoughts on the much-loved event over on our Facebook page, and have collected a handful of the responses. The majority of people agreed that now was the time for it to end!
