Leeds fireworks and bonfire night displays 2021 happening this year

After Covid-19 cancelled last year's Bonfire Night fun, the festivities are back with a bang with dozens of events happening across Leeds and West Yorkshire.

Bonfire Night conveniently falls on a Friday this year, with events pencilled in for November 5, 6 and even on November 7.

A number of pubs and sports clubs have announced events that you can take the family to this year and there are plenty to choose from.

The Hunslet Club

November 5 - 6.30pm

As well as a fireworks display there will be DJs playing and tasty treats available at this free event. The display will take place in the garden of the venue.

The Hare & Hounds

November 5 - 6pm

You won’t find fireworks going off here but there will be a real family feel. The Tingley venue will host a bonfire, stilt walkers, fire breathers and more. There will be lots of street food being served too. Entry costs £5.

Gledhow Sports and Social Club

November 5 - 3.30pm

The fun kicks off early with a best Guy Fawkes competition, food and family quiz. There’s lots more to enjoy too.

Kirkstall Valley Farm

November 5 - 6pm

There’s no fireworks at this family-focused event but you can enjoy a nice evening sat around firepits with sparklers. Entry costs £2 or a family ticket, for six people, is available for £5.

Yeadon Cricket Club

November 6 - 6pm

You’ll be able to have a great night at this fireworks display and bonfire running at the cricket club. The annual event usually draws a big crowd. Entry costs £5.

The Roundhegians

November 6 - 6.30pm

You pop to the Memorial Ground in Roundhay for this big sparkly night out. The sky above will be colourful with all the amazing fireworks. There will be street food, hot drinks and alcohol on sale. Entry costs £5.

Kirkstall Bridge Inn

November 5 - 7pm

Head to the venue’s riverside beer garden for a lovely family night of cheer. There will be a bonfire and a big fireworks display. You can also enjoy food and drink on your visit. Entry costs £5.

The Mustard Pot

November 5 - 4.30pm

Always a big favourite, you can head to Chapel Allerton for the bonfire, fireworks and entertainment. You can also enjoy treats off the popular venue’s menu. Entry costs £9.50 and under twos can free.
