Leeds fans point finger of blame at one man after playoff failure against Derby

Leeds fans slammed the display of their former Real Madrid goalkeeper Kiko Casilla as they suffered playoff heartbreak against Derby, losing 4-2 as the Rams reached Wembley.

Holding a 1-0 lead from the first leg thanks to a strike from Kemar Roofe, the Yorkshire side looked set for a comfortable evening when a close-range strike from Stuart Dallas gave them the lead on the night at Elland Road.

And they looked to be taking that advantage into the break, only for a dreadful mix-up between Casilla and Liam Cooper to allow Jack Marriott in for the equaliser shortly before the break, just after he'd come on.

Mason Mount then scored for Frank Lampard's side just after half-time, and Derby were in dreamland when Harry Wilson made it 3-1 just before the hour mark.

Dallas quickly pulled one back, but after a red card for Gaetano Berardi, Marriott struck again five minutes from time to stun the hosts.

And plenty of fans were left puzzled at the display of goalkeeper Casilla, who signed from Real Madrid in the summer.

Scott Malone was sent off late on for Derby, but Lampard's side hung on to reach the Wembley final against Aston Villa.
