Leeds family heartbroken as 'most beautiful' daughter, 23, dies suddenly

A Leeds family have been left heartbroken after their "beautiful, brave and funny" daughter aged just 23 died suddenly this week.

Bethany, 23, tragically died on Monday, September 12, due to complications with her heart. She had undergone a heart transplant when she was just six months old.

Her devastated mum, Louise Griffin, from Leeds is now having to face huge funeral costs and has set up a GoFundMe page to help the family during this tragic time and help to give her daughter the send off that she deserves.

Bethany tragically passed away this Monday in the Freeman hospital in Newcastle.

Louise, Bethany's mum, said: "Obviously I never imagined I'd have to say goodbye to my 23 year old daughter and I wasn't prepared financially so any donations or even a share would be much appreciated.

"There are simply no words to explain the love for Bethany from everyone but most of all from me, her mum. I'm simply broken. I'm not ok, I'm totally broken.

"She will be sadly missed by her siblings, Tom, Jack, Ben and Bobbie. Beth was the most bravest, strongest, kindest, funniest, sometimes gormless - in a way that made us all laugh - but she really is the most beautiful girl ever.

"She was simply far too good for this world, Beth will always be loved and never forgotten."

"I just want to thank everyone for their kind words, messages, flowers and for the love and support you have all shown me and my family - I'm overwhelmed with the amount of love and support."
