It's less than a week since chancellor George Osborne announced initial details of the comprehensive review.
But there's already been quite a reaction to the cuts around Leeds, as the above picture of city centre bank graffiti taken by a passer-by demonstrates.
The Guardian cutswatch initiative is already benefiting from reports submitted by Leeds people. Leeds cutswatch is an initiative to evaluate the impact of the government's spending review on lives and communities at street-level.
Some of the reports since Wednesday include:
Jobs lost at the Connexions service, community and voluntary groups facing cuts, and some good news reported includes The Ethical Property Company is planning a new centre to support third sector organisations.
Please do keep your reports coming in - this is a collaborative effort which relies on the Leeds public, as well as our cutswatch team of journalists and myself.
And cuts will be on the agenda the Third Sector Leeds Open Event next Monday - November 1 - 9am-noon in the Council Chamber at Leeds Civic Hall.
It's an event for third sector groups to engage with the council on spending cuts. Delegates will be hearing from council chief executive Tom Riordan, Alan Gay and Sandie Keene from the council's corporate leadership team and councillor Lucinda Yeadon from the Labour group.
More details on the event are available here.
