Leeds could possibly be in line for that rarest of things this year - a white Christmas.
The odds of Leeds getting snow on December 25, 2021 have been published by gambling industry experts Gambling.com.
And Leeds is one of the cities most likely to get a winter wonderland this festive period according to the bookmakers.

Leeds has been handed odds of 4/1, the same as fellow northern cities Manchester and Liverpool.
That means a more than fair chance that we could be waking up to snow on Christmas Day morning.

Gambling.com spokesperson Darren Hughes said: “Winter has well and truly arrived in recent days, and many Britons are now beginning to wonder if and when we might see snow fall this year.
"Having crunched the numbers, it looks like Leeds might just see a flurry this Christmas, with odds of 4/1 suggesting a 20% chance of a white Christmas. Liverpool and Manchester are also 4/1, suggesting the strong possibility of a white Christmas in the north-west."
The news comes just a couple of days after it was revealed Leeds could also get snow on Bonfire Night - with another betting firm releasing official odds for November 5.
