Leeds Bradford Airport adds new holiday destination as more flights scheduled from July 16

New flights are opening up from Leeds Bradford Airport as international travel restrictions are eased further.

Passengers can soon start flying to Guernsey without having to worry about testing or quarantines.

The Channel island is planning to lift all restrictions of travellers from the UK and Ireland from July 1. Currently, anyone arriving in Guernsey is subject to testing and a period of self-isolation.

But people arriving from the Common Travel Area after July 1 will be able to avoid these rules.

Leeds Bradford Airport will start running two flights a week to Guernsey Airport from July 16.

The flights will run on Mondays and Fridays.

The island of Guernsey will be open to UK travellers from July (Bob Embleton)

Guernsey airline, Aurigny, is offering a flexible assurance on bookings made before the end of June.

This offers flexibility to change or cancel in exchange for a credit voucher up to 2 days before travel.
