Leeds Beat The Chasers winner hailed as 'one of the best' by chaser Paul Sinha

A Leeds winner on Beat The Chasers has her eye on a trip of a lifetime after her victory against the ITV show’s quizzers.

Jennie, a uni lecturer in anthropology, the study of humans, bagged £10,000 competing in Sunday’s edition of the quiz show hosted by Bradley Walsh.

Before taking on the chasers, host Brad, asked what she’d spend her money on if Jennie won. She replied: “I’m a big Eurovision fan and if I was to have a win I’d be able to go for the full week.”

Jennie, who rehomes chickens through a charity, scored £1,000 in the cash builder round then received offers to take on the show’s chasers.

Instead of taking on all five, Jennie, settled for the challenge of trying to win £10,000 against three chasers.

She started with an 11-second advantage and ended beating the quizzers with 10 seconds to spare.

Bradley said to the delighted contestant: “Jennie, guess what? We are going to Eurovision.”

Paul Sinha, one of the chasers Jennie competed against, said: “I thought you were one of the best performers we faced and it is a shame you only won that amount of money as I thought you were brilliant.”
