'Leeds are in big trouble' - Nottingham Forest fans react to Samba Sow fitness hints

Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi dropped a hint earlier today that midfielder Samba Sow will be fit and ready for Saturday's match-up with Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United - and fans are happy.

Sow missed the defeat against Birmingham City last weekend with a minor injury, but has trained ahead of the Leeds clash.

It's an important match as well - the Reds in fourth place will take on second placed Leeds. Only four points separate the teams and that could be cut down to a single point.

It will be the fourth-placed Reds against their second-placed opponents on the banks of the Trent, with the gap between the two standing at four points.

Lamouchi says if Sow is fully fit, such is his importance to the team, he will play against Leeds.

“All players are available for the game,” said the boss.

Samba Sow is an important player.

“Of course with him or without him, it is not the same performance - sometimes with a good, sometimes with a bad result at the end.

“If he is in, he will play. If he feels good, he will play.

“If not, I trust the others and we will try to find the best option.

As for the fans, here's just some of their reaction:

Stuart: Leeds are in big trouble!

Ian: Huge news the potential difference between a win and a loss!!

Rich: Thank the Lord!

Harry: No Kalvin Phillips for Leeds and Samba Sow will return for Forest Surely that’s the midfield battle won!?

Halftimepies: I will certainly be happier when I actually see Sow's name in B&W on Saturdays team sheet

TheForestHub: Points when Samba Sow has played - 35/48 (16 games) Points when Samba Sow hasn’t played - 16/39 (13 games)

Lauren: Hope Sow is back for Leeds, has such an impact on the team and Saturday without him showed it
