Leeds and West Brom fans assess promotion race as Nottingham Forest make ground on rivals

Tuesday night saw a number of twist and turns that highlight the unpredictability of the Sky Bet Championship.

Nottingham Forest claimed an impressive 1-0 victory over promotion rivals Brentford to move up to third place in the league table.

A first-half strike from Joe Lolley secured all three points for Sabri Lamouchi’s side, as they prepare to face Birmingham City this weekend.

Elsewhere, Leeds United came from a two goals down to secure a 3-2 win at home to Millwall, thanks to a brace from Patrick Bamford supported by a strike from Pablo Hernandez.

But West Bromwich Albion, they fell to a 2-1 defeat to Cardiff City as they fell to second place in the table.

Forest are four points behind leaders Leeds in third, and four points adrift of Albion who occupy the other automatic promotion spot.

After last night’s results, fans of both Leeds and West Brom took to social media to express their thoughts on their respective results and the race for promotion to the Premier League.
