Leeds American TikTok star's 'weird' accent has Capital Breakfast hosts roaring with laughter

She went viral on TikTok after she set up an account, talking about differences between life in America and in the UK.

Yet her fame has only continued to skyrocket, as Capital Breakfast shared their thoughts on her latest video.

She had her fans in tears as she told them "my life is a lie" pointing out shows that she thought began in America.

Examples pointed out by the "yorkshire_peach" included: Antiques Roadshow, Masterchef, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Wife Swap and Supernanny.

Fans couldn't believe it, joking: "The weather in this country is so bad there was no choice but to come up with good TV."

Another wrote: "Hahaha, love this! How can America do Antiques Roadshow first? Half our antiques are older than America."

But this video had reach far and wide as Capital Breakfast, hosted by Roman Kemp, Sian Welby and Sonny Jay found themselves in stitches too.

Sharing the snippet of the show on her Instagram story, Lisa clearly found the mention hysterical as they dubbed her accent "weird".

Writing: "Hahaha, Capital Radio, shut up", Sian Welby said of Lisa's accent: "I can't cope with the Yorkshire and the American there."

Lisa previously told Leeds Live: "During the first lockdown I posted my first video as a joke.

Lisa's fame has continued to skyrocket (@yorkshire_peach)

“In the video I mispronounced the word chicken goujons – which I still don’t know how to say – and I went to bed with 500 followers and woke up with 10,000 followers who were all taking the mick.

“Since then, I started to post about what it’s like being an American in the UK.

“I think people appreciate seeing all the differences between the UK and the USA."

She continued: "I found a TikTok video via Facebook and instantly fell in love with the app and the speed of the entertainment so I opened an account.

" I was initially going to speak about mental health but things didn’t pan out that way!

"I made the mistake of mispronouncing 'chicken goujon' on a video, instead calling it a 'goolion' and my following erupted.

"I woke up with thousand of comments and followers because of a mistake.

"The UK thought it was hilarious!"
