Leeds albino wallabies found safe and well after escaping from farm

Two albino wallabies reported missing from a Leeds farm yesterday have now both been found safe and sound.

Wallabies Roxy and Amadeus went missing from Thorner Alpacas farm yesterday where they usually live in a field.

The owners put out a call to watch out for them, and along with the police, warned the public not to approach the wallabies if they encountered them.

Owners at Thorner Alpacas were out looking for them all day yesterday.

The female wallaby, Roxy, was located yesterday evening and brought home.

Amadeus was finally captured around 1pm today after the search continued into another day.

He was tranquilised by the vet once he was found so he could be brought back to the field securely.

Both are now back at the farm and are uninjured.

Thorner Alpacas put out a post on Facebook to thank everyone who had helped in the search.
