Lee Mack's net worth at age 52, his wife, veganism and podcast

Known for his appearances on panel shows, as well as his own sitcom, Lee Mack has become one of the country's most recognisable comedians and presenters.

Born and bred in Southport, the comedian, whose real name is Lee Gordon McKillop, first appeared on our screens in the early 2000s and his career has since gone from strength to strength.

He is most well-known for being a team captain on the BBC comedy panel show Would I Lie To You?, writing and starring in the sitcom Not Going Out, and for hosting the Sky One show Duck Quacks Don't Echo.

Lee has also presented They Think It's All Over, as well as appearing on Taskmaster, being the guest announcer on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, and starring in many an episode of 8 Out of 10 Cats does Countdown.

The dad-of-three is predicted to have a net worth of around $18 million - around £15.8m - according to Celebrity Net Worth.

The Southport comedy writer recently appeared on our screens on Gold's whodunnit comedy caper Murder, They Hope.

A Sandgrounder through and through, Mr Mack has even donated his lawnmower to the town's famous museum.

Lee is married to wife Tara McKillop, and has previously said he has to put up with people believing that she was attracted by his high profile and fortune, rather than his charm and humour.

The pair actually met while at university.

They were married in 2005 and have three children: Arlie, Louie and Millie.

According to an episode of Task Master, Lee Mack is a vegan.

In a segment where the contestants guess where they rank compared to each other for most pints of milk drunk per month, Lee comes in last place as he drinks zero pints per month.

He has also given up alcohol, which he has discussed on his podcast, I Can't Believe It's Not Buddha.

Neil Webster is his co-host and the two discuss taking their first, often clumsy, steps on the road to nirvana.

Lee has long had an interest in Buddhism, mindfulness and the possibility of a more spiritual life.
