Lee Latchford-Evans revealed the adorable name for his newborn baby along with the family history behind it.
The former Steps singer, 46, and his wife Kerry-Lucy introduced their baby Leo William Keith Latchford-Evans to the world recently.
He arrived via C-section on July 23 and Lee revealed he was "completely obsessed" in a new interview.
Leo's middle names are William after Lee's late father while Keith is after Kerry's dad.
Kerry thought about the gorgeous name 'Leo' at the start of her pregnancy and said she "really liked it."
However, the name came with a family history that the couple never knew about.
"He does look like a Leo and he can pull it off," Lee revealed. "When I told my mum about the name she told us a story we didn’t know."
The singer told OK! magazine : "It has a double meaning for me now because my grandad never actually knew his real father and the man that raised him was called Leo and my nan’s maiden name was Lyon.
"So there are a few links there."
Kerry and Lee also discussed the "traumatic" birth of their newborn.
The baby was in a breech position and Kerry was suffering with pre-eclampsia and despite the procedure being scheduled, there were still complications, as the anaesthetic didn’t seem to work at first.
However, the moment she was able to see her son was "quite amazing" as the two teared up with joy at the "surreal" moment.
Lee also took to his social media to share an adorable black-and-white photo of the couple holding Leo's tiny hand.

"Welcome to the world baby boy," he wrote. "Me & your mummy @kerrylucyinsta are so in love!

Iconic Tracy Beaker actress Dani Harmer also congratulated the couple on the happy news.
Scottish radio presenter Jenni Falconer, B*Witched singer Sinead O'Carroll along with endless fans also shared their congratulations with the couple.
Lee - who married Kerry in 2012 - announced that they were expecting a baby back in April.
